Rally The purpose of the rally is to bring awareness to the stigma and shame that are associated with substance dependency and addiction. Stigma impacts individuals in many ways, such as not seeking help for addiction when they need it because of their shame. Systemically, stigma has resulted in healthcare inequities with too few addiction-focused services available for the number of people who need them.
