A Taste For Life

Join us for  'A Virtual Taste For Life' Fundraiser from April 14th to April 30th!

A Taste for Life is about coming together to share food in support of ARCH and those living with HIV in our community. Though we are not able to dine together in person this year, we hope that you will still support us by participating in this year's Golden Ticket Campaign! A Golden Ticket to a Tasty Life!

How does it work?

What's a tasty life? ARCH believes in community health and wellbeing & food as a cataylst for bringing community together! From April 14th to April 30th, buy a golden ticket to support community health & local restaurants! We want to support the incredible restaurants that have supported a Taste for Life over the last 14 years.

  • When you donate $40, you'll get a $10 gift card for a partnering restaurant
  • When you donate $100, you'll get a $30 gift card for a partnering restaurant

The gift cards are assigned at random, so we can be equitable to all partnering restaurants involved!

Winner, winner, tasty dinner! For every $10 you donate, you'll be entered in the Taste for Life draw for a chance to win great prizes!

All of the funds raised will go towards our programs and services, including our COVID-19 response. Many of our clients faced challenges before this pandemic, and the impact of reduced services throughout this past year are significantly adding to their daily struggles. Support our local restaurant partners!

We want to sincerely thank our restaurant partners! We recognize the impact of this past year has had on the iindustry, and difficulties caused for the wonderful people who staff, manage, and own these places. For this reason, this year's A Taste for Life is all about showing our gratitude for community restaurant partners!

Please see the list below. If you plan on ordering food or buy a gift card in the coming weeks, please consider supporting these community-minded businesses.

What are we doing to respond to COVID-19?

Although we’ve had to be physically distant, the work we do keeps happening in different ways! We've been able to adapt, meet and support our communities where they are at. We've done this by:

  • Continuing our patients’ care and facilitating appointments with nurses and doctors online
  • Checking in with our clients over the phone to alleviate anxiety & social isolation
  • Providing groceries and support with access to essential services & programs to people living with HIV
  •  Working on the Community Health Van with Sanguen Health Centre and other community partners
  • Hosting online social spaces for our community to connect and find support

Thank you to our official sponsors!
