HIV and the Law 101
Inspired by HALCO’s work with clients, this workshop will review privacy and human rights protections for people living with HIV, work incentives built into the Ontario Disability Support Program, positive developments in criminal and public health law related to HIV, and identify trusted sources of legal information and referrals for legal advice.
The workshop is intended to benefit people living with HIV or members of communities affected by HIV, volunteers and paid staff in community-based organizations, and health care and social service workers.
This event is being hosted online.
The workshop runs from 12pm to 1 pm, with Q&A session from 1 to 1:30 pm.
