HIV Education Program

The Education Program is designed to provide information about sexual health, HIV/AIDS, and improve the quality of services that people living with, and affected by, HIV receive. We provide education on these topics and many related topics to our communities. It is our belief that education and prevention are key tools in responding to our communities' sexual health needs.

Education services are offered free of charge and are available to anyone in Guelph, Wellington, Dufferin, Grey and Bruce counties.

ARCH delivers workshops on a variety of topics, as well as provides sex education resources and safer sex supplies, such as condoms and lube. We can present to community groups, university students, population-specific programs, classrooms (phys. ed, sociology, civics, family studies, and many more) as well as clubs such as gay-straight alliances. We work with leaders to tailor content for each workshop we deliver. We also present on topics around sexual and gender diversity, HIV stigma and criminalization, harm reduction and anti-oppressive practice. A full list of our workshops is available here. With advance notice, the above workshops can be adjusted to fit the needs of your audience..
