Youth Engagement & Empowerment  Program (YEP)

YEP is a program that provides education to youth and adults on HIV, Hep C, and other Sexually Transmitted Blood-Borne Infections (STBBIs). Using a harm reduction approach, YEP strives to increase awareness of prevention and transmission of HIV, Hep C and STBBIs as well as access to testing, care, treatment and referrals. YEP provides people with accurate information and education on; living well with HIV, Hep C and how to protect your own sexual health from HIV, Hep C and other sexually transmitted blood borne infections.

If you are living with, think you might have, or at risk for HIV, Hep C we can lead you in the right direction.

Street Outreach

With the help of our peer outreach workers, the YEP program will deliver low threshold outreach related to sexual health and substance-related risk reduction, HIVSTBBI testing, and orientation to local mobile outreach van services.

 Workshops

YEP staff offer community-based education workshops for youth at-risk and service providers who provide services to youth.
